Job Description

We re hiring immediately for our 1st & 2nd Shift MIG Aluminum Welder positions in Colorado Springs, CO.

This position pays between $20 - $22 an hour + $.75 shift differential

Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

  • Lays out, fits, and welds/fabricates aluminum components to assemble structural forms.

  • Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding

  • Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together

  • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding

  • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processes

  • Assembles parts by bolting and riveting

  • Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts

Shift Info

  • 1st shift -7:30 am to 4:00 pm

  • 2nd shift -4:00 pm -12:30 am

  • Monday - Friday

Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

  • AWS D 1.2 Aluminum Certification credentials: Highly preferred

  • Previous work experience in aluminum MIG welding required!

  • Must be able to read a tape measure with extreme accuracy.

  • Aluminum Fabrication Skills

  • Able to pass a welding test

  • Must pass preemployment background check and drug screening.

  • Must have High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school preferred
