Ascend Staffing has partnered with a silk screening production company in Chandler, AZ. There is an IMMEDIATE opening for a full-time, warehouse tech.
Shifts are Monday through Friday, 10: 30 AM - 7: 00 PM. Starting Pay is $12.50 per hour. Temp to Perm Position!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assist in shipping and receiving duties, unload / load trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders for processing
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Sort, place and move materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for foot/personnel traffic.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves/racking, or relocating orders to a holding/bulk area or shipping area.
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
Open and pack bales, crates, and other containers for shipping / receiving functions.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
Active participation in physical inventory.
Weighing and inventorying items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Performs janitorial duties as needed to include garbage detail, floor cleaning, organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times and general preventative maintenance as assigned.
Must become forklift truck certified within 3 months of assignment to as trained by designated personnel.
Must become fully trained within 3 months of assignment in the operation of the following equipment: Rewinder Core Cutter Hole Puncher
