Job Position: Warehouse Operator

Location: Reno, NV 89506

Pay Rate: $19.00

Shift: Days 6a-330p Unloader

Description: The Tire Freight Handler is responsible for manually loading and/or unloading and stacking tires from/to containers and trailers onto pallets and moving pallets using a manual pallet jack.

  • Piecework Pay after training - $.30 per 100 lbs. (approx $23.82 per hour)

Roles and Responsibilities

Manually stack tires into or onto containers, trailers, or pallets.

Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked safely, securely, and stable.

Properly sort tires before loading or unloading per paperwork specifications.

Verify correct and suitable trailers are being used per paperwork specifications.

Accurately provide tire counts by correctly filling out the proper paperwork.

Execute assigned unload/loading production schedule by supervisor/site management.

Adheres to corporate and site-specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents


Minimum Qualifications and Physical Demands

Ability to handle physical expectations of this role

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accomplishing job tasks promptly.

Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Ability to constantly lift to 70lbs for prolonged periods

Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects

Ability to repeatedly use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body.


Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen successfully.
