Rental Yard Mechanic / Customer Service

Ascend Staffing is currently hiring for general labor positions at a Gilbert location near Baseline and Stapley. The position requires the highest level of customer service at all times. You will learn all of the rental equipment; including operation, application, capabilities and limitations along with equipment operation and safety issues. The ideal candidate for this will be a reliable (preferably with transportation) self-motivated and able to work in the elements. This position will have you washing rental equipment ranging from chairs, trimmers, backhoes, etc. This is a full-time position with options for overtime if necessary.
Skills: High Energy, Customer Service, mechanical aptitude, basic engine servicing skills, ability to learn
Knowledge: Working knowledge of a wide range of equipment and its application; knowledge of gas and diesel engines
Schedule: 7 AM 4 PM. You must be able to work Saturdays.
Physical requirements: Work in the elements (heat and cold). You will be standing, stooping, bending and kneeling for prolonged periods of times. The position requires nearly constant standing or walking along with continuous contact and communication with customers.
You must have a 7 year clean background and be able to pass a drug test.
