Meat Packaging Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

  • Employees could be working in different areas which include harvest, deboning, trimming, binning packaging.
  • Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging
  • Identify and dispose of defective items
  • Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean work area

Meat Packaging Shift Info

  • Swing Shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
  • Mostly Monday Friday with some Saturdays

Meat Packaging Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

  • No previous experience is necessary
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or processing a plus.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Able to work in the US.
