Production Worker Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)


Assisting the Plant Manager in daily operations, maintaining quality requirements, generating, auditing and documenting paperwork, and other tasks to ensure that quality standards are being followed.

The Production Assistant will support the Plant Manager in supervising a team of employees to ensure the company delivers and meets required food safety compliance requirements.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP s).

Report any food safety and quality issues/problems to personnel authority to initiate action.

Collaborate with Plant Manager to develop and implement Food Safety and Quality, SQF fundamentals, and the Food Safety and Plans in the plant.

Assist with quality related training.

Assist with reconciliation of corrective actions (audits, inspections, etc).

Must be hands on and a team player to collaborate with other departments and processes where needed.

Understand and follow all safety procedures, utilizing appropriate safety equipment at all times.


Production Worker Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)


Food production: 1 year (Required)



  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Production Worker experience preferred
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to pass drug test
  • Able to work in the US

Salary:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour


Schedule:

Day shift

Monday to Friday
