Producton Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

Check specification of the product to be produced by reading and understanding production instructions and the production sequence report

Check quality of the product being produced using a tape measure and visual inspection

Clean calendar rolls

Aid sandblasting of calendar rolls

Wrap calendar rolls and take off rolls with specified roll wrap when rolls are to be removed

Paint machinery and equipment as instructed by supervisor

Operate the crosscutter to cut the film into sheet instead of being wound on rolls as need by production

Maintain the integrity of the machinery by performing need operational preventative maintenance according to the TPM schedule

Write work order for needed maintenance items that cannot be accomplished by operations and using the work order log

Promote the TQS through accurate, complete recording of specified operational conditions

Separate all scrap by color and grade

Maintain work area clean and orderly per the 5s program, this will include sweeping, mopping, wiping down machines, picking up trash and organize the area.

Production Shift Information

  • Swing Shift, Work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as required
  • Monday - Sunday

Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to read and comprehend written production instructions in the English language

Ability to read standard and metric measuring tape

Basic math skills and ability to use a hand calculator

Work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as required
