Industrial Production Machine Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

  • Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties
  • Read, analyze, and follow blueprints and sketch designs (including computer-aided design (CAD) and/or computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files)
  • Set-up, calibrate, maintain, and repair machinery and machine tools as needed
  • Ensure machine parts are made to correct specifications by reading design manuals, blueprints, sketches, etc.
  • Run test products to ensure quality and accuracy of production meets the set standard
  • Place and secure mobile fixtures and materials onto machine
  • Observe and monitor input/output, accuracy, and efficiency of the machine
  • Finish pieces by grinding, smoothing or shaping as necessary


Industrial Production Machine Operator Shift Info

  • Day Shift, 08:00 am to 04:00 pm
  • Monday - Friday


Industrial Production Machine Operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

  • Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
  • Training, certification, or degree from a technical college or vocational school preferred
  • Knowledge using Microsoft Suite
  • Experience using CAD (computer-aided design) and CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software programs
  • High mathematical and mechanical acuity with experience reading blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints, sketches and/or computer-aided designs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Industrial Production Machine Operator experience preferred
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to work in the US
