Door Hardware Installer Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications
  • Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project
  • Install security hardware in doors
  • Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines


General Construction Shift Info


  • Day Shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Monday Thursday (some overtime on Friday/Saturday as needed)


General Construction Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)


  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
  • Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
  • Experience wiring hardware
  • Carpenter experience preferred
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to pass drug test (OMMA not accepted)
  • Able to work in the US.
