Job Description

Job Title: Nutraceutical Plant Mechanic

Shift Information: Day Shift; Monday Friday 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM.

Swing Shift Monday Thursday 2: 30 PM 1: 00 AM.

Hourly Wage: $18.00 + DOE

Job Summary: Employees will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems within the nutraceutical plant.

Types of machines include automatic capsule fillers, electronic capsule counters; and other machines use to process single dosage and bulk powders. Electrical systems range from 24VDC to 480VAC.

Experience Required:

  • At least 2+ years mechanical experience
  • Up to date or aptitude to learn current technology
  • Previous similar role a plus

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Education Requirements High School Diploma
  • Prescreening Requirements Employees are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be eVerified.
  • Physical Requirements Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs. Comfortably, work at a quick pace and be able to stand and move around for the majority of the shift.
  • Skill Requirements Employees must be able to read, write and understand basic math and English.
