Sanitation Worker Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)


Maintain sanitizer stations for hands and footwear

Stock shoe covers, hair nets, beard nets and ear plugs throughout the plant

Safely handle and dispense cleaning and sanitizing chemicals

Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors and stairs

Clean and sanitize equipment, forklifts and tanks

Operate the floor scrubber

Learn and report signs of insects or rodents

Perform overhead cleaning of piping and equipment



Sanitation Worker Shift Info


Sunday 5 AM 10 AM (varies due to work load weekend cleanup)

Monday Friday: 6 AM 3 PM (can rotate a day off during week if they don t want 6 days)


Sanitation Worker (Requirements / Skills)


Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to ride the man lifts

Position may require lifting, bending, crawling, kneeling, standing for long periods of time,

reaching, frequent walking, frequent ladder climbing.

Immediate Supervisor: Sanitation Supervisor Substitute: Other Trained Sanitation Associates
