Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Sheet Metal Installer. As a Sheetmetal Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sheet metal components for commercial and residential buildings. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines, and be expected to deliver high-quality workmanship.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to determine sheet metal requirements for projects

  • Measure and cut sheet metal to fit specific building dimensions

  • Install sheet metal components, including ductwork, flashing, and gutters

  • Repair and maintain existing sheet metal components, ensuring they function properly.

  • Schedule varies

  • Full-Time, OT as needed

Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

  • Proven experience in sheet metal installation, repair, and maintenance

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

  • Proficiency in using sheet metal tools, including snips, shears, and brakes

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

  • Commitment to safety and the use of appropriate protective equipment
